NOVEL INSTRUMENT BUILDING

⏳ 15 hours (1.5 hrs X 10)

👩🏻‍💻  Class of 2-6

With a traditional acoustic instrument, gesture is translated into sound mechanically. The connection between gesture used and its sonic result depends on instrument mechanics. With the help of advancement in technology, all gestures can be mapped freely to any sound since the tracking and mapping processes are independent of each other.

In this course, student will build their novel musical instruments with sensors and actuators on the Arduino platform.
